The Smith Variant Brim Ski and Snowboard Helmet is a new audio compatible, full performance helmet that showcases Smith's helmet technology. The Variant Brim boasts Smith's new Hybrid construction and comes equipped with a slim, sleek brim. The Variant offers technical performance with tons of style. Hybrid Shell Technology combines polycarbonate and ABS shells for superior protection and style. Hybrid Technology combines a tough ABS upper shell with a flyweight in-mold liner into a sleek, low profile and modern design. Hybrid construction also creates a clean smooth top surface by enabling the low profile Regulator to function with reduced mass and volume.

The AirEvac helmet ventilation system combined with Smith's patented Regulator adjustable lens technology keeps air moving seamlessly from your goggle through the top of your helmet, giving you a clear look at what's ahead.

The low profile Regulator AirEvac 2 Technology has a 3-stage adjustable ventilation system that improves on past technologies. This system sets the vent slider directly under the ABS hard shell, bringing the overall helmet volume down. All vents are connected to channel air across the head and make maximum use of the Air Evac 2 exhaust venting system.

Snapfit ear pads are ergonomically designed to be form fitting and comfortable. They are easily removed for washing and effortlessly reinstalled.

The new Helmet Fit System (HFS) ensures a correct and comfortable fit by combining an ultra thin, low profile design with a specially molder liner. The simple, one button, "set it and forget it" design takes up virtually no room and the ergonomically design chassis cradles your head.

This audio compatible helmet is compatible with Plantronics Bluetooth and Skullcandy Twin-Tip audio systems.
