The Pro-Tec Descent ski and snowboard helmet offers lightweight, low profile, technical performance in an audio compatible helmet. With removable ear pads, a one-piece DRi-LEX interior removable and washable interior, and RECCO Rescue Reflectors, the Descent is ready for riders looking to blaze through the fresh powder or discover uncharted backcountry.

The Descent has an in-mold micro shell with an EPS liner. To keep air flowing, and to keep you cool, ProTec has included the Bernoullie venting system, as well as front goggle vents.

The Bernoulli venting system draws heated air out of the interior. As airflow passes over the helmet, each vent experiences a drop in pressure. The difference in pressure causes the interior heated air to be drawn out of the helmet and travel with the exterior air flow.

Goggle vents are a defogging device built into the helmet liner and helmet shell to allow hot air to escape and let cool air into the goggles, keeping the inside of your goggles dry and clear.

The one-piece DRi-LEX interior and the removable ear pads keep you dry and comfortable with unique moisture-transport capabilities. DRi-LEX delivers freedom for clamminess, is breathable, offers a superior cooling system, and is quick drying.

The RECCO Rescue Reflectors are part of an advanced radar technology system that allows for the quick location of an avalanche victim or a lost snowboarder.
