The Giro G9 Jr Ski and Snowboard Helmet for kids is an updated version of the Nine.9 Jr. With the same attention to detail as the adult version, the G9 jr delivers a refreshed classic with graphics and colors just for young riders. The G9 jr is a lightweight performance helmet that's as good as the helmets pro riders use. New this year, the G9 Jr, includes the In Form fit system. The In Form fit system makes this lightweight, low profile helmet even more comfortable. The In Form fit system lets you dial in the fit for optimal comfort and performance.
The G9 jr offers lightweight in-mold construction and provides great peripheral vision and a gapless goggle fit.
Giro's In Form adjustable fit system includes a flexible head pad at the base of the helmet. It conforms to your head shape as adjustments are being made to provide a plush, custom fit. An ergo-friendly dial at the base of the helmet provides up to 6cm of fit/feel adjustment for enhanced comfort and stability. Height adjustment is achieved through pins located at the top of the In Form unit. This compensates for different head shapes.
Giro has included 15 vents that pull cool fresh air into the helmet while radiating heat and stale air out.
