The Giro Bad Lieutenant Ski and Snowboard Helmet is a low-profile military shaped helmet made for the core, and the few, who have the commitment and talent to back the stance. This Bad Lt. Audio Series includes Giro's TuneUps, audio ear pads that let you connect to your music player.

The shell of the Bad Lt. is a bonded high-impact ABS shell with an impact-absorbing EPS liner. Giro uses EPS for a liner material because EPS offers the most consistent performance across a wide range of conditions, and gram for gram, it absorbs more impact energy than other liner materials. Plus, it's incredibly light. No other material brings all of these benefits together.

The Bad Lt. has no vents, but you won't need them due to the shape of the helmet. The ear pads are removable, fat and backed with a plush fleece lining.
